A New Vision for Viz-A-Viz Ministries UK

Over recent months the trustees and leadership team at Viz-A-Viz Ministries UK has been seeking God’s will for the future, and after a considerable period of immense challenge combined with the pain of asking those deep questions that sometimes need to be asked, I am delighted to share with you what we believe the Lord is saying to us.

We’ve asked this particular question: What’s the biggest crisis facing the UK church right now? ‘Is it that people are not turning to Christ and joining the church?’ or ‘Is it that Christians are not sharing their faith?’ We … Continue Reading

There really is More to Christmas

Viz-A-Viz Ministries has produced the More to Christmas card again this year to help you engage in conversation with people who you have contact with this Christmas.

The card has a DVD inside which contains seven real life stories of how Jesus can, and has, affected people’s lives. A great way to use the More to Christmas card is to give them out at your special Christmas events, weekly groups and even through people’s letter boxes and invite people to watch the DVD and think about their lives. Each card can be over-printed with your church’s details so there is a … Continue Reading

I am privileged to work alongside such a committed and creative team at Viz-A-Viz Ministries who serve with energy, dedication and longing to see people’s lives transformed—the whole team is enthused about serving Jesus Christ.

On the weekend of 8th – 10th April, I was down in Bournemouth working with the young people from Newbury Baptist Church, on their church weekend away.  We had a team of five people; myself (Rich), Wayne Dixon (Scripture Union), Claire Almond and Emma Stone (previous Viz-A-Viz Ministries volunteers) and Ben Carman (top bloke and Emma’s boyfriend!).   The church hired out an entire hotel for the weekend, the sun was shining, the beach was a stone’s … Continue Reading

Viz-A-Viz Ministries is ‘opening up’

The past three years has been a period of enormous transition for Viz-A-Viz Ministries as we move into a ‘new phase of ministry’.

Whilst going through this transition I have experienced the pain of staff redundancies and have faced ongoing significant financial challenges. I have received calls from supporters who care about the ministry asking if it is true that Viz-A-Viz Ministries is closing down! At times, if I am honest, there have been moments when I have felt that this was all too much.

Somehow, in the … Continue Reading
